You can see a picture in the sidebar or in the address bar (favicon) which I would like to call the logo for this blog, I suppose it has some matrix text effect. In this post I will take you through the making of it.
Step 1. Open a new file and fill it with black color. (Layer 1)
Step 2. Inserting encoded matrix text:
Open any image or pdf or mp3 file in notepad, you will be prompted with lines of encoded text, copy this text and past it vertically in Photoshop.
select Vertical Type Tool from text tool box and paste the copied text, rearrange text if you want (Layer 2)
Step 3. Adding main text
Add your text using Horizontal Type Tool (Layer 3)
Step 4. Sharp glow effect around the horizontal text
Select Layer 3 (Horizontal text), click on Image -> Mode -> Greyscale, you will see a merge layers prompt
Go to Filter -> Stylize -> Wind add wind from right, open this again and add wind from left.
Click on Image -> Image Rotation -> 90 CW
Go to Filter -> Stylize -> Wind add wind from right, open this again and add wind from left. (same as the one above)
Click on Image -> Image Rotation -> 90 CCW
Click on Image -> Mode -> RGB Color, you will see a merge layers prompt
This time click on Merge
step 5. Green color to text
Go to Image -> Adjustment -> Color Balance or just Ctrl + B, adjust the green color to the your requirement and Done!!
